Roger Ferris (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a CIA agent. A number of successes he has ever done that is when the Middle East dismantle terrorist networks. Now Roger was given the task to hunt down a member of Al-Saleem's terrorist network in Iraq. In performing these duties, Roger recruit local people of Iraq to become partners in each of its intelligence mission. Although given freedom to determine the decision while on duty in the field, Roger still required to establish an intensive communication with his superior, Ed Hoffman (Russell Crowe).

Hoffman then commissioned Roger to operate in Jordan. According to information obtained, Al-Saleem lived in the land of Jordan. Roger was promoted to head the CIA to Jordan. He was asked to cooperate with the Jordanian intelligence services to support each operation.

Conflicts began to arise when Hoffman made his own intelligence operations without sepengatahuan Roger. Jordanian intelligence chief who feel betrayed too disappointed with Roger so disconnected cooperation that has been well maintained. Roger also felt like being stabbed from behind by his superiors that he believed all this time.
